If it takes three men two days to dig a hole, how long does it take one man to dig half of a hole?

Theres no such thing as half of a hole. A hole is a hole no matter how deep.  You cant take half of an undefined amount except by putting it into variables. I know thats not the answer you were looking for though.  think about this.  you have a hole that is two meters deep and two meters wide.  There is another hole that is a meter deep and a meter wide.  That second hole isn't half of A hole, only half of THE  hole.  Since we dont know the determined values of the original hole, there is no real answer because hole is an idealized concept.  But as for the answer, idk
