Staff Rules and Expectations
Hello, and welcome to the Rules and Expectations for Staff Positions page for CDA. If you are here, you're likely planning on applying for a staff position sometime soon, or are just curious. While you are here though, please take the time to thoroughly examine and read through the rules and expectations that are listed for each and every various staff position.

Judges -
Event Organizers -

Rules & Punishments -
Teachers -
- Teachers are expected to test any untested members who wish to be placed into a dorm.
- Teachers are also expected to be active within the dorm, so that they can test new members as they arrive.
Judges -
- Judges are expected to oversee tournaments and wars, and to solve ruling disputes that arise during them.
- Judges are also expected to stay up-to-date on rulings and understand how new cards work. This is so they can easily solve ruling disputes if any occur.
Event Organizers -
- Event Organizers are expected to host various tournaments within the academy, and initiate wars.
- Event Organizers are also expected to oversee their own hosted tournaments and wars, alongside with Judges.
- Event Organizers are expected to post the results of their own hosted tournaments and wars, and ensure the winners receive their awards (if any).
- Event Organizers should be active by hosting a tournament or war once every week
- If a problem arises within a tournament or war, Organizers should contact a judge first to dispute the problem; You may also contact an admin or moderator for a final decision.
- Event Organizers are responsible for declaring Match losses during a tournament due to various reasons such as cheating, or ruined game states; HOWEVER, it is not up to the Event Organizer to ascertain ruling disputes, even if they involve things such as ruined game states; These things must be handled by a Judge, and then appropriate action can be taken by the Event Organizer.
Graphic Designers -
- Graphic Designers are expected to create graphics for the academy and their users, when requested.
Moderators -
- Moderators are expected to oversee the forums and chatroom, and ensure that they're being run smoothly according to the guidelines.
- Moderators are expected to be active at least twice a week.
- Moderators are expected to know the rules and appropriate conduct for the academy labeled under the "Rules" thread.
Head Admins -
- Head Admins are expected to oversee the forums and chatroom as well, and ensure that they're being run smoothly according to the guidelines.
- Head Admins are expected to basically be on top of EVERYTHING if necessary.
Rules & Punishments -
- All Staff are required to follows the expectations outlined for their position
- Failure to follow these expectations or failure in the ability to appropriately carry out your job can result in demotion.
- All staff members are required to be friendly and professional while on active duty.
- All Staff members are required to be active within their various duties.
